I believe that copying it to the binary is preffered. This makes it available in the live media itself. However it means I add many (mostly small) files to a FAT filesystem. That can inflate it. I eventually opted to replace some parts (the local copy of live-helper[1]. Indeed. I have 'REDUNDANT_FILES' in that script and it was good enough for me. I don't have local packages in the chroot. [1] I was not usre what my local changes are. Was not sure in advance there won't be any. In practice I often have minor ones. -- Tzafrir Cohen icq#16849755 jabber:tzafrir.co...@xorcom.com +972-50-7952406 mailto:tzafrir.co...@xorcom.com http://www.xorcom.com iax:gu...@local.xorcom.com/tzafrir -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-live-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
