Hi, it appears we have to tags which are basically about the same issue https://lintian.debian.org/tags/aliased-location Implemented by Helmut in https://salsa.debian.org/lintian/lintian/-/merge_requests/524 and https://udd.debian.org/lintian-tag/package-contains-usr-unmerged-pathnames Implemented by Josh in https://salsa.debian.org/lintian/lintian/-/merge_requests/128 Imho we should consolidate those two tags as I find it confusing / unnecessary to have two tags which appear to do mostly the same. One noticeable difference is that aliased-location also flags aliased locations, so it appears like a superset of package-contains-usr-unmerged-pathnames. Maybe we should just drop package-contains-usr-unmerged-pathnames then or is there value in keeping it? I've CCed both Josh and Helmut for their input. Regards, Michael
