From my reading of the specification, tabs are (in theory) still allowed in the Files or Upstream-Contact fields, although I don't think I've actually seen any package use tabs there. The common issue appears to be people copy-n-pasting license texts that contain tabs. Would it be possible to reuse the check for tabs in the long Description field for binary packages? Jelmer
