In addition to what as been answered, one plea: Please make your IoT gadget secure and provide security updates of its software to your customers. As on what is the issue with most devices and how important it is to make IoT devices secure, read, for example: https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2017/02/security_and_th.html Making IoT devices secure unfortunately is no legal requirement yet, but it is a moral, ethical one.
