Both of the situations are biased - each person will probably think their preferred occupation is more creative or worthwhile. If they thought otherwise, they'd probably be doing the other task. Why is this news to anyone? ObTopic: I agree with the arguments for using the MIT/Expat and the GPL. I also think there's a gap in the market for a simpler share-alike for non-program works and I think public performance is a bit of a grey area for all free software (programs, audio, video, text, ...) which matters more for non-programs.
