with many contributors.


Given that the issue that triggered the discussion was the relicensing of star from GPL to CDDL, and afaict from Joerg Schilling's mails to the various *BSD projects, he relicensed the source code overnight, it seems as if he is the sole copyright holder, or has the other copyright holders consent.

So I would not expect number of contributors to be a problem to re-relicensing it under an ammended CDDL.
