This was Mike Shaver at OSCon last month, FWIW.  It didn't sound like
they had any plans to make an announcement, he instead rather gave me
the impression that he found the entire licensing question terribly
boring :-), and it was merely a side note in a discussion about whether
enigmail could be bundled with thunderbird...
