Ok, I agree. Then you need to make sure all of the firmware images in the kernel tree are removed from the Debian version of the kernel. Part of why I brought this up was the fact that the keyspan driver isn't the only firmware image with "odd" license issues in the kernel. Good luck! :) greg k-h
