I think Joey's mail is quite good since it is just stating facts. Truth cannot be made up, specially on free software (and non-free also) legal issues.
It took me a long time to learn this one, but it's true - it's not just what you say, it's the way that you say it. I have no quibble with the factual content of his mail.
