I couldn't get the screendriver working in gnome. It worked well with 'squeeze', but after updating it stopped.
It has been some time since I worked with the machine last time and I don't remember well how I installed it earlier. I expected the update to keep it working but it didn't... I will do 'lspci | grep VGA' after I'll get back to the machine and will let you know the result. I'm now not at the machine, but traveling with another machine. with best, -hv -------------------------------------------- On Tue, 5/20/14, Efraim Flashner <efraim.flash...@gmail.com> wrote: Subject: Re: Compaq nx9010? 'lspci | grep VGA' should give the actual video card. I would suggest some dpkg -l | grep ??? but I'm not sure what to search for exactly to get something useful. > with best, > > -hv > > -- Efraim Flashner efraim.flash...@gmail.com 4096R/CA3D8351 created: 2013-10-08 GPG key = A28B F40C 3E55 1372 662D 14F7 41AA E7DC CA3D 8351 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-laptop-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
