Greetings, Battery status is not updated after installing gnome-power-manager. Battery status is not updated after installing xfce-power-manager.
xfce-power-manager has no activity while running top? The time remains constant > 1439 root 20 0 17772 6664 4900 S 0.0 1.4 0:00.51 xfce4-power-man /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/charge_now is not updated unless user suspends or reboots. With xfce4-power-manager installed I should be prompted "what do do, power button pressed" There is no activity when pressing the power button. Prior to installing power-man, the system would halt when pressing the power button. also plugging in power adapter does not have any impact. When using gnome-power-manager The only system activity I can tell happening when pluging/unplugging A/C adapter is power-save state changes according to pm-powersave.log When using xfce4-power-manager pm-powersave.log is not update by power adapter plug/unplug. I'm assuming this is normal because xfce4-power-manager does not have a default profile for "while on batt" vs. "while on A/C" I'm not sure what else to provide. Thanks in advance for taking the time. Eric -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-laptop-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
