Hi. Well, my dell studio 1555 has a dell wireless 1397 which is indeed a broadcom 4312 (rev 1). I can see this with the lspci command. The b43 is supposed to work with this but I have to update to kernel 2.6.32 from sid. I prefer waiting until 2.6.32 gets in testing. Until then I will use the proprietary driver from broadcom. I am currently using the previous version. If I replace the old version with the updated one the interface just disappears. As you can see using the older version can bypass the problem. I just wondered why the updated version of the broadcom-sta driver does this. J -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-laptop-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
