have been using a T60p for over 4 years by now and still very happy with it. Essentially all hardware components are supported by Linux (except for the modem). I use it constantly, in the office and at home, carrying it back and forth every day - hibernating it for the road. Had two other laptops before but they did not last longer than 2-3 years due to the heavy ware and tear. This one is still fully functional, thanks especially to the very robust hinge. I had to exchange only the keyboard recently as many of the keys were slowly giving up on me ;-).
