Do you want to use
wireless network connection?

It depends on which kind of device you have got.

If it is such a thing which doesn't have any
program installed with the device
it should work.

If it is the one with
windows program inside then
it might be difficult.

I'm using a 3G gsm mobile phone
for my connection.
It is connected with usb on my hp laptop.

You should try installing wvdial
program for the connection.

I have benn using   Debian 5  on my desktop since its release,& I love it.

I recently bought a   HP laptop model
G60=243CL and installed  Debian 5 on it. It dual boots with Vista. Both
systems work fine.   My problem is on the Debian  the wireless does not
work. The wireless device is not even detected. How do I go about
fixing.
