Hi,

I installed gspca-modules-`uname -r` package and then installed cheese.
When cheese is started, the webcam light gets ON but no image is seen on
the tool.

Hi Kurian,
I think that it can help you. See the gspca for resolving your problem.
I have installed "gspca-modules-2.6-amd64" and my web-cam now work very nicely!
But you can need in other version of such packet. (apt-cache search gspca).
