Just tried that again... no results. However, there was a _very_ cryptic note about having to remove or blacklist some kind of ssd driver... and I haven't a clue as to whether or not such a driver is loaded on my laptop, where it is located, and much less how to remove it.
I do, however, have ndiswrapper built into my kernel... should I remove/disable that, and if so how? Additionally, I have been getting a "Your system has experienced a kernel failure..." notice after Gnome loads (though it still seems to run fine anyway). If none of these are the underlying issues, then how on earth am I supposed to get Linux to recognize my new driver, and allow me to setup my wireless connections? PS: If at all possible, please tell me how to fix this via Gnome's Utilities, as I really don't have time to play around with the command line right now. -----Original Message----- From: graziano obertelli [mailto:grazi...@cs.ucsb.edu] Sent: Monday, March 16, 2009 11:35 PM To: John Wesley Cooper Cc: debian-laptop@lists.debian.org Subject: RE: URGENT - v5.0.0 amd64 (stable): Broadcom 4321AG Wi-Fi adapter not detected Hello, have you tried http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php? cheers graziano -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-laptop-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
