When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send
the full server output, not just the last messages.
This can be found in the log file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log".

You need the kernel headers corresponding to your installed kernel
for the Nvidia driver to compile their driver.

There is a misconfiguration in your config file of xfree !
Maybe you can try to remove the ModeLine lines...
On most screens, Horiz et Vertical frequencies are enough

Are you sure that you have a Window Manager ???
Like Gnome, KDE or Windowmaker, etc ???
Maybe, if you ahve installed one, your user favorite wm is not set.
