Hi!

So I've been trying to install debian on a Dell Inspiron M170, and the boot CD doesn't find the CDROM drive. So what I did was I just installed debian through PXE booting and avoided that issue.

I got X11 working and all and now need to use my CDROM drive, but it's obviously not detected. I am at a loss as to how to proceed. I saw this bug report: http://lists.debian.org/debian-boot/2005/09/msg00077.html

But am not able to remove ata_piix and reinsert it since it says it's already in use..

Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
