If you have the kernel-image installed, just run "update-grub" to add it to the grub boot menu. To make dpkg do this for you when installing kernel images, add the following lines to your /etc/kernel-img.conf file: postinst_hook = /sbin/update-grub postrm_hook = /sbin/update-grub do_bootloader = no All of this is documented in /usr/share/doc/grub/README.Debian.gz . -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
