What tools do I use to set the key > for WPA? Do I use the same ones as for WEP (like iwconfig), or what? You have to use a supplicant in order to use WPA. The most common, best supported, supplicant is wpa_supplicant. There's also xsupplicant (although I believe the WPA support was removed in the latest releases) and hostapd. If it's not syncing to the AP, play with the ap_scan setting and scan_ssid setting in /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf. And use the wpa_cli to see exactly what's going on with the WPA handshakes. -- Freddie Cash, CCNT CCLP Helpdesk / Network Support Tech.
