Yes, but why? It worked before, it should work now... Certainly, I either forgot to add something in the config (which I meant to avoid by using "make oldconfig") or the kernel code has been altered quite a bit. Either way, I don't get it. I wonder if anyone has attempted to install the latest udev in a kernel 2.6.12 or later but is using it in an older version?
