Hi, I have the problem that "xset dpms force (standby|suspend|off)" does absolutely nothing on my IBM Thinkpad T21 with the Xfree 4.3 (testing) and the savage driver. I also tried an alternative driver from http://www.probo.com/timr/savage40.html (latest version not the deb package). The DPMS option is enabled and xset -q shows the set timeouts but they're just ignored.
Is this a problem with the driver? Any help is appreciated. David
