besides the battery issue I've discovered some other strange happenings on my acer 291lci. This time: switching between LCD (built in) and VGA-Port. With 2.4(25(?) - debian installer standard built): No problem: With 2.6.(7 - my own built): Pressing the switch button causes some graphics-errors with X. The mode is not swichted at all. I'm able to use an external monitor or the built in LCD, depending on which is availeble at boot-time (if vga connected, use vga). But I'm not able the switch betwenn VGA, LCD, both with 2.6.7 Did I forget to select some kernel feature or what's going on here? Keep smiling yanosz - -- Achtung Adressfälschungen!
