Hi, I'm a "newbie" in GNU/linux installation and I met trouble with my Sarge installation on my travelmate
1 - The cdrom works, the sound works, but I can't read audo cd... ? I have a lot of error lines in syslog like "disc_seek_error at xxxx" (with the default kernel and mine) 2 - The pcmcia doesn't work... it work with the kernel 2.6 coming with the debian installer (19/05) but not with mine... I don't know what I need to select and I m asking what do you use? 3 - The boot takes too much time... Do you know how to reduce it? maybe if I put every device in the kernel? I need to try but if someone has an idea... I agree that I can find the 2d point somewhere but I'm tired to try again and again Thx
