Hola~ I've had a Dell Inspiron 8000 for a couple of years. I've been running Debian unstable and MS Win2k with great success with both OS's. Other than the weight and the graphics chip (I bought mine when Dell only shipped the Inspiron with the ATI Mobility chip), I've had a great experience with it.
I'm looking to replace my laptop. I was planning on just going with the latest Inspiron (8600), mainly due to how much I've liked the 8000. After poking around on Dell's web site, I'm also considering the M60. Anyway, if anyone on this list has strong opinions about running Debian on the Inspiron 8600 or M60, I'd like to hear them.
