hi, this is a known "bug", as of version 2.4.4.7, changed the format of the session files (I believe to the same as kdm uses) and now the old ones are not recogniced any more.
now you have two (three) possibilities: 1. Downgrade gdm. 2. wait till all packages which provide sessionfiles are updated accordingly. (gnome-session already is in sid) 3. Search for or write the sessionfiles on your own. ;-) Sorry for only writing such a short reply but I'm a bit short on time. hth Marcel
