I've used modconf to install the tulip driver and it is loading when the laptop boots. This doesn't seem to be helping though, as the computer only sees the serial port still. Could you tell me where I would find the xircom_cb and xircom_tulip_cb drivers ? I assume that after I have them I would use modconf again to install them into the kernel. Where would I place the files for modconf to see them ? I have searched on the xircom (intel) web pages and only see drivers for windows systems. I haven't been able to find them on the Debian pages or sourceforge either.
