What should I do? In shell (on non-graphic-mode) it does not show the very last lines of command promt

I'm having Toshiba Satellite 1800-814, I successfully (I guess)
installed debian into it, but now and while I was installing
debian it does not show the last command lines, so I can't see
what I'm writing unless I log in as "blind" and type clear. I
hope you see what I mean :)
