Hi, I have a Compaq Presario 1503AP running Debian unstable.
Everything works fine, except for the following: When I am using the laptop's built in keyboard with vi or less in an xterm window, pressing the return key sends a newline and a capital M or ESC M. The problem does not occur: - using a normal keyboard connected to the laptop - using other software under X (eg, within Mozilla) - using vi or less from the text console Has anyone got any suggestions, has anyone else had this problem? I have found that pressing CTRL M sends the return code that I really want. Regards, Daniel
