Freezing HardDrive

PLEASE help me!!!

I keep getting the message:

"Cannot write to drive c:"

It seems to happen whenever the C: drive is being used the most.

ie. it's ok using the net for a ling time... or drawing/publishing, but as soon as I use a game, such as Vampire I only get a few mins of play!!!
