Hi, you can also use information of installed packages and create a custom
debian distro - with PGI Installer. Then you can always have a "install-able
clone" of your current instalation. You can also can use mondo (archive backup
tool - with compression and full (boot,partitions) restore with just ENTER -
check it out)
