I have the exact same card, this is what I did to make it work: I'm currently running 2.4.20, the kernel configuration for the card looks as follows: Network device support -> Wireless LAN (non-hamradio) and choose: Hermes chipset 802.11b support (Orinoco/Prism2/Symbol) Hermes PCMCIA card support Network device support -> PCMCIA network device support and choose: Pcmcia Wireless LAN Aviator/Raytheon 2.4MHz wireless support (I also have NE2000 compatible PCMCIA support here, but don't think i matters.) That's it, now the kernel detects the card: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~ $ cardctl ident Socket 0: no product info available Socket 1: product info: "NETGEAR MA401 Wireless PC", "Card", "Version 01.00", "" manfid: 0x0156, 0x0002 function: 6 (network) After that it's just a matter of installing wireless-package and configuring your interface.
