Hello, I'm running woody with kernel 2.4.18, and pcmcia-cs and pcmcia-modules 3.1.33-6 on a Toshiba Satellite 2060 CDS.
1) I'm having trouble when restarting PCMCIA services (/etc/init.d/pcmcia restart) when the network card (LinkSys 10/100) is inserted: I get a kernel oops and a message saying something like "killing interrupt handler". There's no problem if I reboot the computer with the card in, and there's no problem if I take the card out when restarting PCMCIA services. Any ideas? My kernel and PCMCIA conf: ii kernel-headers 2.4.18-5 Linux kernel headers 2.4.18 on PPro/Celeron/ ii kernel-image-2 2.4.18-5 Linux kernel image 2.4.18 on PPro/Celeron/PI ii kernel-package 7.107 Debian Linux kernel package build scripts. ii kernel-source- 2.4.18-5 Linux kernel source for version 2.4.18 ii pcmcia-cs 3.1.33-6 PCMCIA Card Services for Linux. ii pcmcia-modules 3.1.33-6+2.4.1 PCMCIA Modules for Linux (2.4.18) ii pcmcia-source 3.1.33-6 PCMCIA Card Services source. 2) Has any of you tried CNet 10/100 pcmcia network adaptors? Looking forward to receiving your comments, MatÃas.
