after disassembled DELL notebook ...

Moin,
I disassembled my DELL notbook due a malfunktion with the network connector. 
However; I assembled it with no problemes and every thing is working fine 
execpt that the console is not longer full screen size. X, the BIOS and even 
Windows is running in full resolution, only the console is very tiny 
(640x480).
Has anybody had this before?
