I'm fairly inexperiences with laptops and have been searching a bit but cannot really find out how to setup my X-Windows so that it runs the appropriate resolution and refresh rate for LCD and CRT (via docking station), preferably fully automatic ofcourse. Any suggestions and/or pointers?
