Hi folks! This is not necessarily laptop-specific but perhaps one of you can help. I'm getting an error when trying to run the mozilla-install for Mozilla 1.0. As soon as the mozilla-installer starts up, it produces this error:

error in loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So I did a "dpkg -- list | grep libstdc", these two are showing up:

ii libstdc++2.10 2.95.2-13.1 The Gnu stdc+_+ libaries
ii libstdc++2.10- 2.95.2-13.1 Gnu stdc++ ... (development files)

is it possible to just download from debian.org the file that Mozilla is looking for? in which directory would I place the file, if I did so?

thanks in advance!
Gale Stafford
