-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- I have a Dell Inspiron 8100. Getting testing installed was pretty straightforward except for X. X took a bit of finagaling, in part because of the GeForce 2 video card and in part because of the LCD screen. When I initially got X going, it came up in a small box in the center of the screen. It rather looked as though you'd taken the horizontal and vertical size adjustments and set them both to minimum. Once I got XF86Config-4 properly configured for the LCD, X takes up the full screen. However, if I drop to a text mode, it now comes up in that same squished box. I have no idea where the configuration for text mode is maintained, or how the improper X settings migrated there, but text mode was initially full screen. It started coming up squished immediately after X first came up that way, and has remained even after getting X right. If I boot into Windows and pop up a DOS console, this does not happen. Thanks in advance for any assistance. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3ia Charset: noconv
