I purchased a raython wireless access card about 6-8 months ago and it has given me nothing but headaches. I have spent days trying to get it working properly with no proper results. My first problem is speed perhaps i am expecting too much but when it says 1mbps I expect more then the feeble 90kbps that i get. Second I get 90kbps from machines in my local network. while i can connect to the internet directly i cannott effectivly use it. it is pitifuly slow. so slow that i cannott even log into an ftp site to do a speed test. the login process times out after several minutes. I have tried dozens of combinations of options. every possible combination. And I know it's not an enviromental factor because another laptop (not mine) is running windows works fine with no speed limitations and certianly can connect to the internet.
I use a LinkSys Gateway to connect to the internet ( i have @home cable modem service) I have the 2 laptops and the raylink gateway. Any Help, knowledge or just to say that this product did or didnt work for you would be greatly appreciated. Adam Jacob Muller
