i just got a thinkpad i1300 in the mail and promptly removed WinME and
replaced it with Debian 'Sid'. it's working for the most part except
USB. kernel version is 2.4.8-686. whenever i "modprobe usb-ohci", the
system locks up. i even tried compiling 2.4.5 with usb-ohci in it ('Y'
NOT 'M'), and i would see the system come up and find the usb controller
and then just not go any further (e.g. lock up). does anybody know why?
is this an IBM problem? can it be fixed?
