Start by looking at Linux on IBM ThinkPad A20p <URL:http://www.zhlive.ch/zhl_contents_linux.html>. It's the same video chipset, though I think a different screen. After that, check out Linux on Laptops <URL:http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/>. See if anyone has posted anything for the A21p. You will need to use XF 4.0.2 or 4.0.3, btw.
