I have a working LinkSys EtherFast 10/100 PC Card Model No: PCMPC100 >From dmesg: Linux version 2.4.2 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 2.95.3 20010125 (prerelease)) #2 Sun Feb 25 15:35:31 PST 2001 <snip> Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.22 options: [pci] [cardbus] [pm] Intel PCIC probe: Intel i82365sl DF ISA-to-PCMCIA at port 0x3e0 ofs 0x00, 1 socket host opts [0]: none ISA irqs (scanned) = 3 polling interval = 1000 ms cs: IO port probe 0x0c00-0x0cff: clean. cs: IO port probe 0x0800-0x08ff: clean. cs: IO port probe 0x0100-0x04ff: excluding 0x4d0-0x4d7 cs: IO port probe 0x0a00-0x0aff: clean. cs: memory probe 0x0d0000-0x0dffff: clean. eth0: NE2000 (DL10022 rev 05): io 0x300, irq 3, hw_addr 00:E0:98:80:98:64 eth0: found link beat eth0: autonegotiation complete: 100baseT-FD selected >From lsmod: Module Size Used by pcnet_cs 9728 1 8390 6064 0 [pcnet_cs] ds 6608 1 [pcnet_cs] i82365 11936 1 pcmcia_core 39616 0 [pcnet_cs ds i82365] Same thing with a 2.2 kernel, BTW. I think someone at LinkSys got confused. They recently switched their PCI card chips from PNIC to ADMtek, which require the included tulip driver for 2.2 kernels. AFAIK, the PCMCIA cards are still NE2000 clones, not tulip clones. Hope that helps. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
