Years ago, I build a sound device that can be attached to the parallel port and produces Sound Blaster quality sound (I think its compatible to something called COVOX Sound Module). However, I don't know whether such a device is supported by LINUX. If you are interested and if I find it, I can mail you the manual (it was on the disk of some shareware sound program). Felix
