Say what? For 800x600x16bpp in the framebuffer mode use vga=788 (in decimal) OR vga=0x314 (in hex) Also, make sure you have a framebuffer kernel. The stock kernels only have matrox framebuffers, not VESA. I believe there was a discussion about this last week. Actually I know there was because I started it. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
