I'm thinking of getting a CD-RW to exchange large files back and forth between my laptop and home and business desktops (replacing an LS120). I've searched for information on UDF support.; seems the latest version is 0.8-xxx and there is an indication that UDF has been incorporated into kernel version 2.3.17+. But, the UDF home page doesn't appear to be updated very frequently. I'm running potato as it came on the distribution CDs. Has anyone had any success with UDF? Which kernel? Or which UDF driver? Thanks for the help.
