On my thinkpad (755CSE), all I had to do to get hibernation working was create a DOS partition and use IBM's utility (PS2.EXE, I think) to create a hibernation file in the DOS partition. On the whole, I've been quite happy with my thinkpad. If only IBM would release specs to the MWave chipset so I could use the modem. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] / DNRC / UMBC-LUG: http://linux.umbc.edu PGP public key fingerprint: 0A7D B3AD 2D10 1099 7649 AB64 04C2 05A6 --- -- This sentence contradicts itself--or rather--well, no, actually it doesn't! -- Douglas Hofstadter ---- --- --
