Unfortunately not _all_ of the publishing houses provide complete and quality controlled disks. If you didn't get an Official debian cd, you might want to consider doing so before moving on. I am pretty happy with this $1.98 set from linuxmall: http://www.linuxmall.com/shop/00989?cat=ROOT&sort=2&vid=&search=debian&Start = I'm still stuggling, but I know it's not the cd :-)
