i have a Compaq Armada 4131T, which should be almost identical to the 4130.
in my experience, i tried installing Debian slink, but i couldn't get X working .. i checked out the Linux Laptops page for a XF86Config file, but the one i found was for Red Hat (would that make a difference?) i figured Debian potato might be able to properly configure my graphics and such .. no luck. it slowed my modem down terribly. right now i have Corel installed .. it, too, has a problem with a modem, which won't let me do an apt-get anything without extreme patience and frustration baby-sitting it. so, if you do get it, you might be in for a little work. i don't know how much a 4130 is like a 4131T, but my experience hasn't been the most fun. i don't know anything about the docking station. cheers ryq
