Hi, I will be buying a laptop soon and I would like to know a few things about the extent of the Tecra problem.
1. Has anyone ever done a survey of which laptops do or do not require the tecra boot disks? If so, where might I find it? 2. How big of a problem is it to compile the kernel as a zImage rather than a bzImage? Does it restrict you in any way? Stephen Parks
