Hi, I am using a hp compaq V2009 laptop. The synaptic touchpad works well after installing the famous synaptic driver from "http://web.telia.com/~u89404340/touchpad". But when i plug in a external usb mouse, the cursor on the screen is out of control and the system keeps reporting the error:
"localhost kernel: psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost sync at byte 4 localhost kernel: psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost sync at byte 1" The touchpad is also not avaiable after pluging-in of the external usb mouse even after my removing the usb mouse. Only way is to reboot the system. What is possible wrong? Thanks for any suggestion!
