Did you get this resolved? From other posts I've
read, this is only a 1MB video. I have the exact same
problem with this laptop. You're the first person
I've found who, I thought, described the symptoms
correctly. I'm a total newbie to linux, so I need
extra hand-holding, but I saw somewhere to use UNIVBE,
then loadlin to get it to work. Also, apparently
XFree86 4.x is incompatible, use 3.x instead.
